The traffic accident - important information

Important suplemmentary information:

• It is necessary to turn off the engine of damaged car and to save the sourroundings
• It is necessary to safe the stability of the vehicle and to hinder the self-motion of the vehicle
• In case of the fire of the vehicle the blow- up threatens / by engine fuel vehicles/
• In the case of the fire it is necessary to find out the extent and the place of the fire and find out the answers on following questions :
  • Does the fire immediately threaten the  persons in the car?
  • Is there the hand extinguisher  at disposal? Will it be enough for the extinguishment.¨
  • Is it necessary to call the fire brigade?
  • Is it necessary to transport the  injured  in safe distance from a crashed car?
• If the vehicle is on fire – we always call the fire brigade!!! We can not rely on extinguishment  the fire with  the hand extinguisher by ourself .
• The extinguishment  does not mean – the end of the fire. We  have to know  that  some materials can allways have pyrophorous temperatures. It means that the fire  could arise repeatedly – e.g. foam rubber in vehicles seats can smolder few minutes and it can begin to burn again. It is necessary to cool it down, under the  pyrophorous temperatures. We use water to cool it down – water stream.It is necessary to call the fire brigade .
